Get up to 15 hours per month of integrated legal and people operations support with Emily. This dual-role service helps early-stage companies build the infrastructure needed to scale and fundraise confidently. Examples include:

Scope of Work (non-exhaustive):

  • Oversee and manage outside legal counsel and talent vendors

  • Lead due diligence readiness and internal legal/people coordination for fundraising or M&A

  • Design integrated legal and people systems for scaling companies

  • Build hiring, onboarding, retention, and employee development infrastructure

  • Draft foundational contract and policy libraries (e.g., employment agreements, IP assignment agreements, offer letters, NDAs)

  • Establish risk mitigation systems and internal protocols

  • Design org structures, role definitions, leveling frameworks, and performance plans

  • Advise founders on equity, compliance, investor relations, and team communications

  • Audit product and service offerings for legal exposure and provide mitigation strategies

  • Set up internal IP systems (trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, domain names, rights of publicity)

Legal services, where applicable, will be contracted and invoiced separately via Emily’s affiliated partner law firm.
